Big showing from Stellantis

Stellantis is going big at the Brussels Motor Show that kicks off on January 9, taking a prominent position across a 5 200-square-metre stand in Hall 5. The group will present vehicles from its 11 passenger and light commercial vehicle brands to an expected audience of 300 000 visitors.

The display will feature 62 models, ranging from city cars to goods vehicles, highlighting the group’s broad market coverage. Two models will see their world premiere in Brussels: the updated Opel Astra, noted for its Vizor front design, and the new Peugeot 408 fastback.

Three European premieres are also scheduled. These include the all-electric Leapmotor B03X crossover, the seven-seater Fiat QUBO L family vehicle and the Fiat Professional TRIS, a three-wheeled electric vehicle designed for last-mile deliveries.

The stand will host two concept vehicles pointing to future directions. Citroën will present the ELO, a compact, modular electric concept focused on flexible living space. Opel will show the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, a high-performance concept also featured in the Gran Turismo 7 video game.

Other brand activities include a special preview from Alfa Romeo, a focus on racing by DS Automobiles with its DS E-TENSE FE25 single-seater, and the first motor show appearance of the Lancia Ypsilon HF Integrale rally car. Jeep will present the Avenger Black Edition and the new Compass 4xe, while Maserati will highlight electrified and special edition models.

The show holds added significance as the 2026 Car of the Year winner will be announced during the opening day. Stellantis has two models among the seven finalists: the Citroën C5 Aircross and the Fiat Grande Panda.

Emanuele Cappellano, the newly appointed Stellantis Enlarged Europe COO, is set to make his first public appearance at an industry event here. The group has organised a series of press conferences and roundtables for its brands throughout the show, which runs until January 18.
