It was a tough day at the races in the final round of the Regional Extreme Festival at Zwartkops Raceway at the weekend when the ALL THINGS MOTORING driver had to finish up the season in second place overall in Class B of the ACD WElkom 111 series.
Going into the final two races of the year O'Sullivan was on equal points with Wayne Lebotschy (Shield Racing Golf) and knew he had to pull out all the stops to win both heats in order to claim the title. The fitrst heat started well with O'Sullivan's Honda getting the jump at the start and leading in the opening laps.

"There is a difference of weight of around 300 kg between the Honda and Golf," said O'Sullivan. "This meant he had better acceleration out of the tighter corners than me, so got the edge and went away to win the race. He is a great competitor and it was a mighty dice to the flag."
In the second race of the day Lebotschy got away from the start followed closely by the ALL THINGS MOTORING Honda with O'Sullivan drawing on every bit of his many years of racing experience to try and find a way past. The, the pair caught up with the back end of the Class A runners and Lebotsschy slipped past a backmarker Golf to put enough of a gap between himself and O'Sullivan to take the win and the Class title.
"My sincere congratulations to Wayne. It was a great series and he fully deserves the honour...but I'm already making plans for next year," grinned O'Sullivan.
