Friday: Three-Hours of Kyalami
The weekend kicks off with the Three-Hours of Kyalami on Friday morning. Extended by 20 minutes to balance pit strategies between two- and three-driver teams, the race is critical in shaping the championship’s finale.
Leading the standings are Xolile Letlaka and Stuart White in their Into Africa Lamborghini Huracán GT3. Despite missing the season opener, the pair has clawed back with podium finishes to hold a slender one-point lead over Bradley Liebenberg’s Audi R8 GT3, though Liebenberg is absent for the finale.
Challengers Hein Lategan and Verissimo Tavares in their BBR Porsche GT3 Cup, bolstered by SA Rally-Raid champion Henk Lategan, will look to capitalise, while British ace Nick Adcock and his Rico Barlow Racing teammates, fresh from success in the European Le Mans Series, also pose a significant threat.

Saturday’s main event, the Nine-Hours of Kyalami, ups the ante as teams adapt line-ups and machinery. Defending champions Charl Arangies and Arnold Neveling return in their Stradale Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo, while international stars such as Porsche Cup Italia champion Keagan Masters join the grid.
In Class B, the Lamborghini Gallardo and Huracán Super Trofeos of the Hammond family battle the Bigfoot Express Mercedes-AMG GT3, while Class C features a head-to-head between Alfa Romeo’s Giulia QV and Korridas Racing’s team from Mozambique.
SAE National V8 Roadster Championship
The V8 Roadster title race is neck-and-neck, with Pesty Racing and PPLE/Adapt tied on points. Both teams have recruited additional drivers to bolster their chances, including seasoned competitors like Michael Kernick and Trevor Graham. Consistency will be key as the championship rules allow teams to drop their worst result from the six-race season.

One-Hour Dash
The Interprovincial One-Hour Dash provides an additional layer of excitement. This mini-race within the endurance events sees competitors push their limits for a standalone title. With Craig Jarvis’ Ginetta G57 LMP3 and Charl Arangies’ Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 among the favourites, the competition will be fierce.
Racing and Entertainment
Thursday features practice sessions, followed by Friday’s early morning warm-up and the Three-Hours of Kyalami starting at 8:00. The Nine-Hours of Kyalami begins on Saturday at 13:00, preceded by a live performance of the national anthem by Prime Circle.
