Pretoria, South Africa, 23 July 2026: Jaguar TCS Racing heads to Japan this weekend for the 2026 Tokyo E?Prix double?header, arriving as leaders of the Teams’ World Championship and preparing for Formula E’s first ever night races in the Japanese capital. Rounds 14 and 15 will close out the Asian leg of Season 12.
Jaguar TCS Racing has secured four wins and five additional podiums so far this season, placing both Mitch Evans and António Félix da Costa firmly in the Drivers’ title fight. Mitch Evans sits second in the Drivers’ Championship, nine points off the lead, with António Félix da Costa in fourth, 21 points behind Evans. Jaguar also sits second in the Manufacturers’ standings, underscoring the strength and consistency of its 2025/2026 campaign.
The 18-turn, 2.582km Tokyo street circuit surrounds the Tokyo International Exhibition Centre and remains one of Formula E’s most technically demanding tracks. Although Jaguar TCS Racing has yet to score a podium in Japan, the night races offer a fresh opportunity to convert season?long pace into strong results. The double?header will demand precision and adaptability, with the return of PIT BOOST adding strategic complexity.
Mitch Evans, Jaguar TCS Racing driver #9, said: “Last year’s races in Tokyo were tough for me, so I’m coming into this weekend with real determination.
