Racing enthusiasts were treated to a full day of competition at Zwartkops Raceway this past Saturday, during the third Historic and Inland Tour event of the season. The event, held in fine spring weather, featured a full roster of classic racing fields for the Pretoria cognoscenti.

In the Le Mans Prototype, Sports, GT and Trans-Am category, Seef Fourie Junior secured victory in the opening race. He was followed by Jonathan du Toit in a Chevron B8 and Larry Wilford in a Lola T70 Coupe, after a similar car driven by Niel Lobbs faded. The running order included James Temple’s Daytona coupe, Peter Bailey’s Porsche 917, and Warren Lombard’s Cobra. Larry Wilford took the win in the second heat ahead of Jonathan du Toit, Peter Bailey, and Warren Lombard.
