Citroën has introduced Outdoor, a new cross-brand signature aimed at buyers who want a little more character in their daily driving. The company says its idea of adventure is not measured in distance travelled or extreme terrain, but in the ability to turn routine trips into something more engaging.
The range sits above the existing MAX trim level and is available on the C3, C3 Aircross and Ami. It combines added standard features with design cues inspired by exploration. According to Citroën, the crossover trend remains strong because drivers want vehicles that reflect their personality and provide added confidence on daily journeys.

The C3 Outdoor and C3 Aircross Outdoor receive model-specific front bumpers with a more angular appearance and a grey lower section that recalls the skid plates found on SUVs. The C3 Aircross also gains LED fog lights. Vertical Infra Rouge colour clips appear on the front and rear quarter panels, while the brand emblem is finished in the same colour.
A grey insert runs along the bottom of the doors and carries the Outdoor logo together with the mascot Migoo. New 17-inch alloy wheels with an angular design and Infra Rouge centre caps complete the exterior changes. A new Sequoia Green paint option joins Perla Nera Black, Mercury Grey, Banquise White and Bright Blue.
Inside, the seats use a graphic theme with horizontal patterns on the backrests and cushions. The front seat backrests carry a laser-embroidered image of Migoo. Infra Rouge topstitching appears on the seats, armrest and door panels, and the same colour is used for the seatbelts and the steering wheel logo. An embossed Outdoor insert is fitted to the dashboard fabric ahead of the passenger.

The C3 Outdoor is positioned as a compact urban model with front parking sensors. It is offered with petrol, 110 ch hybrid and electric powertrains, the last of which provides a WLTP range of up to 323 km.
The C3 Aircross Outdoor offers more interior space and functional roof rails for carrying leisure equipment. LED fog lights are also included. Powertrain options comprise petrol engines, 110 and 145 ch hybrids, and an extended-range electric version with a range of up to 397 km.
The Ami Outdoor is a limited edition that retains the simplicity and affordability of the standard Ami. It introduces a sunroof on a closed-body version with doors, a feature previously offered only on the Buggy version.
The model is finished in an exclusive Khaki Green colour with white steel wheels and wheel arch decals. Outdoor stickers appear on the lower front doors and a logo is fitted to the rear quarter pillar. A front trim strip frames the upper section and a rear spoiler adds a dynamic touch.

The interior features a specific seat colour with the Migoo motif on the backrest and Infra Rouge seatbelts. A colour pack adds storage items including a dashboard glove compartment, bag hook, door pockets, floor mats, a central net and a smartphone holder.
Citroën describes the Outdoor signature as being personified by Migoo, a comic-book-inspired mascot intended to convey a spirit of adventure, discovery and freedom. The company says the character reflects the range itself, which it presents as robust on the outside and reassuring on the inside.
There is no indication from Citroën locally as to whether the C3 and Aircross versions will be introduced locally or if Ami is even being considered for this market.
