It is the ‘final countdown’ to the Final Edition as Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) unveils two major updates to its Supra range: a partially upgraded 3,0-litre Supra and the ‘A90 Final Edition’. The latter, limited to just 300 units worldwide, is set to provide a fitting send-off for this generation of the sports car.
Since its inception in 1978, the Toyota Supra has captivated car enthusiasts and it made its grand comeback in 2019 after a 17-year hiatus, driven by the passion of Toyota’s Chairman and Master Driver, Akio Toyoda, known as Morizo.

At the time of its return, Toyoda spoke of his deep connection to the Supra, recalling countless hours spent honing his driving skills in the earlier generation at Nürburgring. He described the Supra as an "old friend" that holds a special place in his heart, revealing his personal desire to revive the model. The current GR Supra was shaped by intensive testing at Nürburgring, embodying a commitment to driving pleasure and technical refinement.
Since its relaunch, the Supra has been continually enhanced, with significant updates in 2020 and 2022. The latest upgrades further enhance its driving dynamics, making it equally at home on urban roads and high-speed circuits.
The newest 3,0-litre Supra features a suite of improvements designed to provide a more immersive and exhilarating driving experience. Enhancements to braking performance include the introduction of larger Brembo front disc brakes, ensuring greater stopping power and confidence.

Chassis and suspension tweaks include optimised electronically controlled shock absorbers and reinforced stabilisers, which combine with stronger rubber bushings to integrate the body and suspension more cohesively. These modifications contribute to improved grip, stability, and handling precision. Aerodynamic refinements, such as the addition of a ducktail carbon-fibre rear spoiler and front wheel arch flaps, ensure better road contact and balance.
Inside, the cabin is updated with GR-branded Alcantara upholstery, red accents on the gear knob, and sporty red seatbelts, reinforcing the Supra’s performance-focused ethos.

Meanwhile, the limited-edition ‘A90 Final Edition’ features a recalibrated 3,0-litre inline-six engine that delivers 320 kW and 570 Nm of torque. Engine refinements, including a revised intake system and a low-back-pressure catalyst, enhance airflow and responsiveness.
Cooling systems have been bolstered with a sub-radiator and enlarged differential cooling fins to support the increased performance. An Akrapovi? titanium exhaust system not only reduces weight but also adds a powerful, resonant sound to the driving experience. Active differential control has been fine-tuned to reduce understeer, improving agility and cornering precision.
Drawing inspiration from the GR Supra GT4 race car, the A90 Final Edition features a KW dampening-adjustable suspension system capable of adapting to a variety of driving conditions. Reinforced stabilisers and upgraded subframe mounts enhance its ability to perform at the limits of its capabilities. Braking power is optimised with 19-inch Brembo brakes paired with stainless steel mesh hoses that maintain consistent pressure under intense braking conditions.
The exterior of the A90 Final Edition reflects its motorsport heritage with aerodynamic refinements. A swan-neck carbon-fibre rear wing, carbon-fibre hood with removable duct, and lightweight wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres combine to deliver exceptional handling and downforce. The attention to detail continues inside, where Recaro Podium CF carbon-fibre bucket seats, red accents, and Alcantara trims emphasise its exclusivity and driver-focused design.
