Of all the new vehicles sold in South Africa each month between 70% and 80% are financed in some way by corporate money – either as fleet pool vehicles, company cars or through car allowances – and this is the highest percentage volume in the world.
The UK runs a close second with significantly higher actual unit volumes feeding its fleet business, so the annual Fleet News awards provide an interesting insight into how buyers are thinking – so, here are the results from the 2025 event, held in London recently.
