Dark and broody is the atmospheric around the new limited-edition Ford Mustang GT Nite Pack, a version of the seventh-generation performance car that adopts a darker exterior treatment.
The Nite Pony pack is offered in Oxford White, Vapor Blue, Orange Fury, Race Red, Molten Magenta and Absolute Black. Black exterior finishes feature throughout, a combination that stands out more clearly on the lighter colour options.
Power comes from Ford's naturally aspirated 5,0-litre Coyote V8 engine, which delivers 328 kW at 7 000 r/min and 540 Nm of torque at 5 100 r/min. The engine is matched to a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with paddle shifters, while drive is sent to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential.

The vehicle retains the Mustang GT's selectable Drive Modes, namely Normal, Sport, Track, Drag Strip, Slippery and Custom. These settings allow the driver to adjust steering effort, engine response, transmission behaviour and electronic stability control according to preference and road conditions.
The distinguishing feature of the Nite Pony pack is its extensive use of black detailing. It runs on 19x9-inch front and 19x9,5-inch rear black-painted aluminium wheels, with black GT, 5.0 and Pony badges, black mirror caps and a black grille. A painted black roof is available with every exterior colour, and an Absolute Black rear spoiler and headlamps with black bezels complete the exterior treatment.
Ford says these elements give the Mustang GT a more dramatic interpretation of its established shape, with the black finishes drawing attention to the long bonnet, rear haunches and fastback profile.

The recommended retail price includes a 6-year/90 000km Ford Optional Service Plan, a 4-year/120 000km Ford warranty, 4-year/unlimited distance Roadside Assistance and a 5-year/unlimited distance corrosion warranty.
