The GAC Emzoom, recently introduced to South African audiences, has been given a 5-star rating in the ASEAN NCAP safety testing programme and the hatchback performed well in the assessment with an accumulated score of 88,39 points.

Standard safety features on the GS3 Emzoom include up to six crash bags, an anti-lock braking system, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and a Seatbelt Reminder System (SBR) for front occupants. Additionally, it offers a suite of advanced safety technologies including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), front collision warning (FCW), traffic sign recognition (TSR), lane departure warning (LDW) and blind spot vision (BSV), among others.

Under the bonnet, the GS3 Emzoom is powered by a four-cylinder engine paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, delivering power to the front wheels. This setup enables the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8,0 seconds, with fuel consumption around 6,.2 l/100 km.
