Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) will expand its Fortuner range with the GR-S in the first quarter of 2025 and will coincide with the ninth edition of the Fortuner Challenge
The GR-S variant introduces enhanced performance features and bold aesthetics. Designed to tackle both rugged terrain and urban roads with ease, the GR-S offers sport-inspired upgrades, an aggressive stance, and advanced off-road capabilities. TSAM is confident that this new addition will reinforce the Fortuner's standing as a favourite among South African SUV enthusiasts.

The Fortuner Challenge pairs four contestants, each representing a media partner, with a local sporting hero. Teams face a range of tasks, including 4x4 obstacle courses, endurance tests, and problem-solving activities, with the ultimate prize being a brand-new Toyota Fortuner.
Aspiring challengers keen to join the 2025 Fortuner Challenge can submit their entries via the official Toyota Fortuner Challenge website before 24 January 2025.
Adding to the excitement is the ‘Back Your Hero’ campaign, giving fans a chance to win prizes from event partners such as Quartz Engine Oil, Garmin, Salomon, and Thule. The campaign allows the public to support their favourite sporting stars while enjoying exclusive rewards.
