Kicking off 2025 in what looks to be a busy year for new model launches is the Great Wall Motor Company (GWM) that has introduced the Haval H7, positioned as the flagship model of the range the H7 sits above the H6 and aims to combine luxury and off-road capability.
The Haval H7 presents a distinct departure from the brand's existing aesthetic, moving away from the dynamic curves of models such as the Jolion and H6. Instead, it adopts a robust, angular design with round LED headlights, squared-off wheel arches and bold alloy wheels. Its exterior, available in four colours — Hamilton White, Sun Black, Grey, and Orange — also features practical elements such as functional roof rails and a 210 mm ground clearance.

The cabin is highlighted by a floating 14,6-inch infotainment system and a 12,3-inch digital instrument cluster, both boasting exceptional brightness and resolution. These screens provide a range of features, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The interior includes additional features such as an aviation-style gear lever, integrated grab handles and wide-opening doors for ease of access. The rear luggage compartment provides 483 litres of storage, expandable to 1,362 litres when the seats are folded. Super Luxury variants include amenities including a panoramic sunroof, front seat cooling and an inductive tailgate-opening system.

The second option is a 1,5-litre turbo-petrol hybrid system offering a combined 179 kW and 530 Nm. This powertrain, available only in 2WD, uses a Dual Hybrid Transmission (DHT).
The Haval H7 offers a range of off-road features, including an All-Terrain Mode system that adjusts engine mapping, steering and power delivery based on conditions such as snow, sand or mud.
