Outdoor adventurers, campers and offroad enthusiasts will have an opoortunity to combine all three at the upcoming Outdoor & Adventure Expo from August 16-18 at the B’Sorah game and cattle farm in Broederstroom, near Hartebeespoort Dam.
Intende to be immersive and interactive, rather than just being a static exhibition, the event will provide camping sites, hiking routes, mountain bike trails, easy-driving offroad tracks and a tough obstacle course for the serious donga-divers.

The organisers are inviting guests to bring the whole family, including dogs on leashes, to enjoy a variety of activities and explore the latest in outdoor and adventure gear. Set amidst the bushveld under towering trees, the exhibitor arenas create a natural and immersive outdoor ambience.
Outdoor exhibitors will show off the latest in outdoor clothing, hiking and cycling gear, camping equipment, electronic outdoor devices, new vehicles, 4x4s, SUVs, campers, RVs, off-road caravans, trailers, and auxiliary 4x4 equipment.
There will be a 4x4 Demonstration Track where guests can watch up-close action as exhibitors showcase the off-road capabilities of their vehicles and off-road caravans..

Naturally there will be numerous food carts, bean-to-cup coffee vendors, hot and cold beverages and a beer garden with nostalgic 70s and 80s background music but no live music shows in order to keep the peaceful atmosphere.
Expo Schedule:
- Friday, 16 August: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday, 17 August: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Sunday, 18 August: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Entry Fees:
- Adults: Friday R50, Saturday R100, Sunday R60
- Pensioners: R50 per day
- School Kids: R30 per day
- Camping for the weekend: R350 per person (includes expo access)
- Hiking and Mountain Bike Trails: R70 per person
- 4x4 / SUV Drive-Outs: R150 per vehicle (no alcohol allowed)
- 4x4 Obstacle Course: R250 per vehicle for a 1-hour slot (no alcohol allowed)

For the campers, while no electricity is available, amenities include a central water point, mobile VIP toilets, hot showers and a central boma with a campfire and braai area.
The Land Rover Owners Club will be in charge of the Obstaccel Course and all entry fees for the obstacle course and the 4x4 drive-outs are donated to the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT), supporting eco-tourism routes and conservation projects in the Soutpansberg.
