Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit is set to roar back to life as it hosts the much-anticipated Festival of Motoring powered by WesBank from August 30 to September 01. This iconic event promises an electrifying blend of speed, innovation and automotive excellence, transforming the legendary circuit into a paradise for car enthusiasts.
Michael Dehn, managing director of Messe Frankfurt South Africa, describes the event as a “new era in motor shows”.

WesBank, a longstanding supporter of the event, is amplifying its presence this year with the joint participation of FNB and MotoVantage.
Lebo Gaoaketse, head of Marketing and Communication at WesBank, notes the Festival has grown significantly, becoming the premier platform for showcasing local automotive innovation.

The festival will feature a stellar lineup of displays and interactive exhibits from automotive giants such as Bentley, Porsche, Volkswagen, and more. Visitors can look forward to thrilling experiences, including track drives, where they can feel the raw power of the latest Volkswagen models, or hop into a Supa Cup racing Polo with VW Motorsport drivers Jonathan Mogotsi or Daniel Rowe for an adrenaline-pumping ride.

In a first for the Festival, the new FoM Experience Centre will offer heart-racing hot-lap sessions around the main circuit. At an additional cost, visitors can ride with professionals from BMW Motorsport Club, Simola Hill Climb, Samlin Lamborghini and RDE Supercars, promising a ride they won’t soon forget.
Among the star attractions will be the Lamborghini Revuelto, a marvel of engineering that blends a revolutionary 12-cylinder engine with hybrid technology. Bentley will also make a grand appearance, showcasing its full model range, including the luxurious Bentayga, the exhilarating Continental GT and the elegant Flying Spur.
Porsche enthusiasts are in for a treat with a display celebrating 50 years of the 911 Turbo, along with the latest models such as the Cayenne GTS and Panamera. Meanwhile, on-track entertainment will be at an all-time high with demonstrations from Formula One-type vehicles, the Sunbet ZX10 SuperBikes Masters Cup Challenge, and the thrilling "Shelby Mustang Speed Challenge".

Beyond the cars, the Festival offers a feast for the senses with a vibrant food market featuring gourmet delights and local favourites. Family-friendly activities, such as simulator competitions and kids' sand art, ensure that there’s something for everyone, fostering a sense of community and celebration among car lovers.
Tickets are available now, with prices set at R275 for adults and R75 for children aged 4 to 12 years. For those looking to enhance their festival experience, complimentary shuttle services will be provided by SANI Car Rental from the Mall of Africa, with internal shuttles by Volkswagen, Isuzu, and Haval to the 4x4 village.
