Pretoria, South Africa – 05 May 2026: Land Rover Classic has released a new-style 18-inch Bowler Alloy Wheel for Classic Defender models, expanding the range of wheel styles available from the official home of Classic Defender restoration and customisation. The new split-five-spoke aluminium alloy wheel, designed and engineered by Land Rover Classic’s Defender experts, has undergone rigorous testing to ensure long-term durability. In addition to standard EU homologation, Land Rover Classic engineers put the new wheel through nine separate strength tests including impact, fatigue, torsion and inner hub strength, as well as extensive dynamic durability testing. The new wheel is part of Land Rover Classic’s commitment to offering Bowler-branded upgrade parts to enhance the appearance of any Classic Defender, maintaining the high-quality reputation the motorsport specialist developed over the past four decades. The 18-inch Bowler Alloy Wheels feature a gloss lacquer topcoat that offers lasting protection, having undergone four Land Rover Classic paint tests including adhesion and chip resistance.
