Peugeot has updated its Landtrek line-up in South Africa with a new 2,2-litre Multijet turbo-diesel derivative that produces 147 kW and 450 Nm. The update brings more power, a higher towing rating and added technology to the Double Cab Allure and 4Action models, with sales starting in October 2026.

The new engine replaces the existing 1,9-litre turbo-diesel and delivers 37 kW more power and 100 Nm more torque. It is matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission with an electronic gear selector. Maximum towing capacity rises from 3 000 kg to 3 500 kg.
