Nissan South Africa has launched a parts campaign aimed at keeping older Nissan vehicles on the road with affordable service kits and components. The Nissan Value Advantage Parts campaign covers the NP300 Hardbody and NP200 models, offering service kits and parts such as filters. These are available through Nissan dealers across the country, as well as selected independent workshops that form part of the Motor Industry Workshop Association (MIWA) network.
Juan Wheeler, Managing Director of Nissan South Africa, said the company remains committed to the local market and wants to support owners of vehicles that are out of warranty but still have plenty of life left in them.
The Value Advantage range gives owners a budget-friendly way to maintain their vehicles without cutting corners on quality. The parts are checked by Nissan, come with their own warranty, and are backed by the company if they fail to meet the required standards.

The campaign focuses on major and minor service kits, along with Value Advantage filters for the NP300 range and the full NP200 line-up. That includes the 8-valve petrol model, the 16-valve versions and the 1.5 dCi diesel, which proved popular with private buyers.
Although production of these models has ended, they remain a common sight on South African roads. Known for their durability and value, the NP300 Hardbody and NP200 continue to serve businesses, entrepreneurs and families. Thousands are still in daily use.
Value Advantage Parts and service kits will be sold over the counter at Nissan dealers and through participating MIWA members. The partnership extends the reach of Nissan's parts offering and supports independent workshops that service many of these vehicles. MIWA members also get access to a dedicated support line.
Wheeler noted that with more than 100 dealers in the network, most South Africans are within 25 minutes of a Nissan dealer. He said customers can rely on the dealer network, whether their vehicle is still covered by a service plan and warranty or is an older model that is out of warranty but still in regular use.
Freddie Louw, Aftersales General Manager at Nissan South Africa, said the success of a vehicle is measured not only by how it performs when new, but by how well it serves customers over time. He said the Value Advantage programme and the MIWA collaboration give owners of older Nissan vehicles more choice and easier access to parts, so they can maintain their vehicles with confidence.
