Following the initial release of its Range Rover Sport SV Edition One, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has introduced the Edition Two variant to South Africa, with just 23 units available through select retailers.

Positioned as the brand’s flagship high-performance luxury SUV, the Range Rover Sport SV combines advanced engineering with refined design. Under the bonnet lies a 4,4-litre Twin-Turbo MHEV V8 petrol engine, delivering 467 kW and 750 Nm of torque. This enables acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3,7 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h.

Enhancing control, an optional Carbon Ceramic Braking system features eight-piston Brembo front calipers paired with 440mm front discs. The vehicle’s 6D Dynamics suspension system—integrating hydraulic interlinked dampers, height-adjustable air springs, and pitch control—aims to reduce body movement during aggressive driving while maintaining comfort.

Drivers can activate SV Mode via an illuminated dashboard button, adjusting suspension, steering, and exhaust settings for performance-focused driving. A long press opens a Configurable Dynamics menu for personalised adjustments.

Exterior options include four exclusive themes: Blue Nebula Matte, Marl Grey Gloss, Sunrise Copper Satin, and Ligurian Black Gloss. Each theme pairs distinct finishes with bespoke elements such as carbon-fibre detailing, alloy wheels, and brake caliper colours. For instance, the Blue Nebula Matte variant includes a satin-forged carbon exterior pack and 23-inch forged black wheels, while the Ligurian Black Gloss model offers contrasting Nano Yellow calipers.

Inside, the Edition Two features SV-branded treadplates, puddle lamps, and trim finishers in satin-forged or twill carbon fibre. Clients can opt for Windsor leather or Knit and Ultrafabrics PU upholstery, alongside Body and Soul Seats (BASS) with integrated sensory audio technology.

Irene Kakooza, Range Rover Brand Director, noted the model’s blend of performance and exclusivity, stating it reinforces the Range Rover Sport SV’s appeal to discerning buyers.

Priced from R3 971 500, the Edition Two allows further customisation, including 22-inch Diamond-Turned alloy wheels and alternative brake caliper colours. Interested clients are directed to contact JLR South Africa for details.

This launch underscores JLR’s strategy to cater to South Africa’s luxury automotive market with limited-run, high-specification vehicles.
