Tata Motors South Africa  is adding to its portfolio following its re-entry to the local market in 2025, introducing a lineup of four models that it says focus on contemporary style, occupant safety and competitive pricing.

The company intends to advance this position in 2026 with the planned introduction of two additional models: the Tata Nexon and the Tata Sierra.

The Tata Nexon is a compact crossover, positioned in size between the Punch and the Harrier. Its design shares a familial resemblance with other Tata SUVs, incorporating elements such as sequential LED daytime running lights, bi-function full LED headlamps and a dual-tone roof option.

Inside, the cabin offers ample space and a focus on technology, highlighted by a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, a physical touch panel and a substantial floor centre console.

Safety remains a priority, as seen across the Tata range. The Nexon is equipped with features including six crash bags and electronic stability control, which contributed to its five-star Global NCAP safety rating in 2024.

Scheduled for introduction later in the year, the Tata Sierra will sit between the Curvv and the Harrier in the portfolio.

The Sierra’s design connects Tata's heritage with modern innovation, a approach recognised with a Red Dot design award. Its exterior is characterised by Night Saber Bi-LED booster headlamps and prominent Light Saber LED daytime running lights with welcome functions. Flush door handles and 19-inch alloy wheels contribute to its design.

The interior features Persona-themed upholstery, a large sunroof and a horizon-view triple-screen display across the dashboard. It provides practical utility through multiple storage solutions and a boot capacity of 622 litres.

Every new Tata vehicle sold locally is supported by TataMove, a comprehensive aftersales programme developed to provide ongoing customer assurance.

TataMove integrates the company’s warranty, service network, roadside assistance, mobility solutions and manufacturer-approved repairs into a single customer-focused framework. The programme is structured to offer extensive support within its segment.

This includes a five-year or 125,000-kilometre vehicle warranty, five-year corrosion protection, and access to 24/7 roadside assistance. Should a vehicle require attention, mobility solutions are available for up to 72 hours to reduce inconvenience.
