Toyota South Africa just confirmed the new Urban Cruiser Taisor, previously launched in India, is making its way to South Africa. However, it will come with a different name, which will be revealed closer to the launch date.

This SUV, part of the subcompact SUV category, is another product of Toyota's partnership with Suzuki, using the Suzuki Fronx as its base.

The Urban Cruiser Taisor boasts a bold front design with a glossy black honeycomb mesh grille, twin LED daytime running lights, and the Toyota emblem front and center. At the back, you'll find updated LED taillights connected by a sleek light bar.

It might not be a Taisor but we have plenty of Toyota pre-owned models for you to choose from

On the inside, expect subtle changes from the Fronx, mainly in the upholstery department. The Taisor will continue to offer amenities like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a driver display, a 360-degree camera, and a Head-Up Display.

Powering this SUV will likely be the same 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine found in the Fronx.

Additional comforts include automatic climate control and seamless integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring convenience and connectivity on the road.
