DB Drag Racing

DB Drag Racing is a hugely popular type of audio event in many parts of the world and now it looks set to take Mzansi by storm. It’s an international format for testing the sound pressure level, or SPL, of a vehicle’s audio system, whether it be a hatchback, SUV, bakkie or minibus. There is also another aspect called Bass Race were two competitors go head-to-head and have to keep their SPL at a consistent level to win. There are a number of different classes depending on the number of batteries, amplifiers, sub woofers and design of the enclosure, with trophies awarded to the top three in each class and overall three loudest for the day.
