The Great Train Race

More than 100 vintage and classic cars as well as motorcycles are expected once again at the annual Great Train Race. Owners of original vehicles designed before 1980 are encouraged to make their way to the historic Heidelberg Railway Station early, for the arrival of the gleaming steam train promptly at 10:00. There will be a miniature steam train on its own railway line for the kids and if the feast of road and rail transport isn’t enough, vintage aircraft will be providing aerial demonstrations overhead. All eligible vehicles must register online prior to the event. Entry for non-participating vehicles is R250.
