Austrian MotoGP

It wasn´t until 1971 that the Austrian Grand Prix was born at the Salzburgring circuit, thus making a splash in the MotoGP™ calendar. However, it was taken off the calendar for more than 20 years before making a triumphant return in 2016, pleasing fans all around the world. Its comeback looked set to be a permanent fixture and today, the race takes place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Renowned to be a demanding circuit that tests the riders´ skills with its accelerating speeds and steep hills, the Red Bull ring was designed by Hermann Tilke. It has a layout that promises spectacular racing in the midst of the Styrian mountains, and is no doubt a popular event to catch, hence the quick sellout of the Austrian MotoGP™ tickets.
